Here are a few FAQs about the website and how it all started.

When did you first hear about Elaine Paige?

I first heard of Elaine Paige in 1994.

How long have you been a fan of EP?

I have been a fan of EP for almost 14 years. She has been a huge inspiration in my life and there are many things which I have read in interviews that has deeply moved me and made me become a very much devoted Fan.

Why set up this Fansite?

I think EP is absolutely amazing and after looking through social media and seeing no Fan Accounts for her, I felt that I was able to do something for her. I have the time, devotion and respect needed to run a successful Fansite for EP. The other reason is to meet fellow EP Fans and spread the EP love.

Is it true the site was originally a photo blog?

Yes, in November 2018 I started what was a photo blog for Elaine. Originally it was to post only photos of Elaine attending events and Press Nights but I soon discovered this was not going to work as I was not interacting with fellow Fans or sharing important updates. So in February 2019 I changed the whole site to Elaine Paige Fansite. The Instagram name remains unchanged as that is a photo blog.

Does Elaine know about your Fansite?

At the time of writing I can honestly say I don’t know. However, Elaine loves her Twitter and will have seen my tweets and I also support EP’s Twitter by liking her tweets. I do intend at some point to contact EP and tell her all about it. However, I feel I must wait a little while until the Fansite has been established for a little while as it shows the site has a future.

What are your plans for the Fansite?

I do have plans but I don’t want to reveal too much at the moment.

Where do you get your information from?

I get information from Google, Instagram and some things do appear on Twitter. I would like to especially thank EP for the information and photos she herself gives through her own Twitter.

Will you be running the Fansite long term?

Oh yes absolutely. This site is going to be here For hopefully many years. It’s definitely not short term.

Do you love Musicals and what is your favourite?

Yes, I love Musicals. My favourite would have to be Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat because it holds many dear memories for me as I played a wife back in my school production. Through EPOS I have grown very fond of the music from The London Cast Recordings Of Sister Act and Hairspray.

Do you have a favourite Elaine Paige song and if so why?

I love all of Elaine’s songs but my favourite has to be Memory. Again it has a special place in my heart. In 1994, I was in my Junior School Choir and Memory was chosen as one of the songs we had to sing for our summer concert. It was a very emotional evening.

What is your ultimate dream?

My ultimate dream would be to meet EP. If this dream comes true it would be the most memorable day ever.
